Question Contents:

– Question contents are based on its type as follows:

– Single/Multiple choices: there are Settings, Main Question, Correct Answer and Explanations.

– Fill the Gaps: there are Settings, Main Question and Explanations.

Each Type of Question has its own settings and features as detailed below:

  1. Single Choice Question:

Settings:

When Settings Tab is selected, three parameters are shown:

  1. Type: Select the question type
  2. Category: classify this question category. The results breakdown shows result per category, which would help users understand their strength and weakness. To add/modify categories please See Link.
  3. Score Points: Total points will be received if answered this question correctly.

Main Question:

Once Main question tab is selected, the editor will be shown to add the question contents. You can use HTML but java script is not allowed.

By default, four options items will be listed under the main question. Those are the question options. You can add, delete, copy, paste, cut, reorder them using the tool shown on right side:

To modify option content, click the option item, then add your text on the editor.

To select option as correct answer:

  • Click option inner circle, Or
  • Select the option then click toggle icon ( ).
  • Only one option can be set as correct answer.

Correct Answer:

When Correct Answer tab is selected, the current chosen correct answer will be shown on the editor page. The editor on read only mode and it cannot be modified. To change/set the correct answer, use option items as described above. Once it is done, the correct answer tab will be modified automatically.

Explanation:

You can set detailed explanation for the chosen answer. Click the explanation tap, then add the contents to the editor.

Explanation will be displayed to reader during reading the results (Exam Read Only mode),  OR when the user click on “Show Answer” button.

Preview The Results:

It is always recommended to test the question as well as the whole exam.

 Multiple Choices Question:

    1. Correct (full marks) if all correct
    2. Ignore Wrong (partial marks for the correct answers)
    3. Wrong answers are evaluated (each wrong answer eliminate a correct one)

Here there is no options items neither there is correct answer tap. All are embedded in the main question content. To add new field: from HTML editor, first set the courser location, then click the insert icon () . Then, Type the correct answer inside the field and note the followings:

Answers are case-insensitive by default, to make it case-sensitive type the answer between double quotes, i.e; “Value”

– If there are more accepted answers for the same filed, separate them by vertical bar pipe (i.e; | ).

-If double quotes are part of the answer, type them inside the answer (it will be fine as long as they are at the beginning).
